Electrical Power in Iceland?

Iceland uses 220V DC, so power adaptors are needed for North American products that use 110V AC. Most current computers and battery chargers will run on 220V DC with the adaptor.

Will we need cash?

Once the tour begins, all hotel, food and travel are covered. Hotels and meals before and after the tour and can be purchased with credit cards or cash. The official currency is the Icelandic Krona. Dollars and Euros are not widely accepted, though it is relatively easy to get a local cash advance from an ATM.
