As we moved from the north coast back to Reykjavik we found some great scenes, and the skies cleared for auroras in the evening. The best images were to fleeting for cameras.

The first week done, this was the first extra day of the tour moved along the North Coast with some great waterfalls, and the bubbling mud pools and steam vents. We got some extra time at Góðafoss when our bus broke down. Nice place for some extra time.

The last day of tour looked at some of the least explored parts of Iceland with lots of time to explore these locations.

We made the long drive to one of our AA stops that almost no one else in Iceland gets to see with a beautiful waterfall lined fiord with a beached barge as its focal point. Leaving the fiord in search of clear evening skies, we found them, however not many auroras before midnight, and then the clouds moved in again.

The East Coast of Iceland is an area not visited by many tourists, and exploring some of Axel's secret spots in a relaxed way with only 12 stops, made for some seldom seen shots. The more explorative day included overnighting at a fishing lodge, and enjoying a couple of nights of Axel's cooking.

With only 6 stops, we did very long stops with the icebergs at the Diamond Beach and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lake. We found our touring bride and some fish being landed.

The south shore of Iceland is known or its waterfalls, and we stopped at three of the largest and best know, as well as a few smaller ones. In total, 11 photo stops during the day.

The second day of the tour included the Golden Circle, the normal route for most tourist buses. Ours included 'only' 7 stops, though that did include a couple of beautiful waterfalls, a geyser, a volcano, and of course a rainbow!

The first day of the tour began with wind and rain, and while the rain let up from time to time, the wind was pretty constant. We did get in 4 'A' locations, as well as another 10 stops (not including lunch and dinner). A busy first official day of the tour.

After a travel day from Canada, we managed to find an open pizza place at 03:00 in the morning, then after an early breakfast, wandered around Reykjavik for the day. We got in 8 different locations, plus lunch and dinner.
